Hastelloy C-2000 (UNS N06200) along with the other C-type alloys (UNS N10276) is a quite versatile Ni-Cr-Mo alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion.
The technical objective of the design of Hastelloy C-2000 was even greater versatility, as compared with the traditional Ni-Cr-Mo alloys. This was accomplished by use of a high chromium content (23%), a high molybdenum content (16%), and a small but effective addition of copper (1.6%). The copper was found to provide enhanced temperature capability in sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and dilute hydrochloric acid. A Ni-Cr-Mo-W alloy, C-22 offers resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion.
Hastelloy Alloy C2000 Strips, Sheet & Plate are available in different types such as Hastelloy Alloy C2000 Strips, Sheet & Plates(ASME SB-575), Hastelloy Alloy C2000 Strips Exporter in India, Hastelloy Alloy C2000 Sheets Exporter in India, Hastelloy Alloy C2000 Plates Exporter in India, Hastelloy Alloy UNS N06200 Strips, Sheet & Plates, Hastelloy Alloy DIN 2.4675 Strips, Sheet & Plates, C2000 Hastelloy Strips, Sheet & Plates, Hastelloy Alloy UNS N06200 Plates, Hastelloy Alloy UNS N06200 Sheet, Hastelloy Alloy UNS N06200 Plates, Hastelloy Alloy C2000 Shim Sheets, Hastelloy Alloy C2000 DIN 2.4675 Chequered Plate. Hastelloy C-2000 (UNS N06200) along with the other C-type alloys (UNS N10276) is a quite versatile Ni-Cr-Mo alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion.
A copper-bearing Ni-Cr-Mo material with exceptional resistance to sulfuric acid HASTELLOY® C-2000® alloy (UNS N06200) is unique among the versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials in having a deliberate copper addition. This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen. Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and possesses exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions (a form of degradation to which the austenitic stainless steels are prone). It is able to withstand a wide range of oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.
